Ketu North MP Awards Scholarships to 302 Tertiary Students
In a remarkable display of commitment to education, the Member of Parliament for Ketu North, Eric Edem Agbana, has awarded scholarships to 302 tertiary students from his constituency.
This initiative, dubbed the Edem Agbana Scholarship Scheme, aims to cover essential education costs, including tuition fees, textbooks, and other academic expenses.
The scholarship program prioritizes inclusivity, with 22 persons with disabilities and 25 young women pursuing STEM studies receiving 100% funding.
Additionally, three students received laptops to aid in their academic endeavors, while the remaining students received between 60% to 80% funding.

Speaking at the official launch of the scholarship program, Mr. Agbana emphasized the importance of education in driving growth and development.
He announced plans to place special emphasis on STEM, professional, Technical, and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) in the second edition of the scholarship program.

To ensure the sustainability of the program, Mr. Agbana has committed to dedicating 50% of his monthly salary to fund the scholarship.
He urged the beneficiaries to make the most of this opportunity and remember that the scholarship is not just financial assistance, but a call to excel.
The Edem Agbana Scholarship Scheme is designed to provide opportunities for tertiary students from Ketu North to pursue their academic dreams and reach their full potential, regardless of their background or financial status.
