The Volta Regional Minister, Hon. James Gunu, has called for enhanced collaboration between the military and civilian population to promote peace and accelerate development in the region.

He made the call during a courtesy visit by the Chief of Army Staff, Major General Lawrence Kwaku Gbetanu, and a delegation of senior military officers to the Volta Regional Coordinating Council in Ho.

He highlighted the importance of sustained collaboration between the Armed Forces and local authorities.

“The synergy between the military and the Volta Regional Coordinating Council is strong, but we must continue to deepen that relationship for the greater good of our communities,” the Minister added.
