The Assemblies of God, Ghana, Eastern Region ‘A’, was abuzz with spiritual fervor as the General Superintendent, Rev. Stephen Wengam, and the National President of Ministers Wives Association, Lady Mrs. Monica Dela Wengam, led a transformative Apostolic Visit.

The event, held at the Father’s House of Central Assemblies of God in Koforidua, brought together pastors and their spouses, retired ministers and their spouses, and widows of deceased pastors in the region.

Under the church’s 2025 theme:  “Pray Without Ceasing” (1 Thessalonians 5:17), Rev. Wengam delivered a stirring message, underscoring the critical importance of persistent and continuous prayer in the life of a minister.

He led the gathering in a four – hour intense prayer session, marked by fervent intercession for revival, local church projects, and distressed ministers in hard-to-reach areas. The prayer session was the highlight of the visit, demonstrating the power of collective prayer in unlocking spiritual breakthroughs.

The visit was replete with memorable moments, including a marriage vow renewal ceremony, where couples reaffirmed their commitment to each other and to God.

Rev. Wengam delivered a passionate call to action and urged every local church to become an altar of prayer, referencing Matthew 21:12-15.This clarion call emphasized the pivotal role of prayer in unlocking the full potential of the church.

In a heartwarming gesture, Lady Mrs Monica Wengam presented gifts of cloth and cash to widows of deceased ministers and wives of retirees. Her actions were a tangible expression of her deep concern for the well-being of ministers and spouses, and her desire to support them in practical ways.

The Regional Superintendent of Eastern Region ‘A’ Assemblies of God, Rev. Dr. Albert Anane, expressed profound gratitude to Rev. Wengam and Lady Monica for their selfless service and tireless dedication to the church and God.

He said their visit has brought renewed hope and inspiration to the region.
