Leaders of Assemblies of God, Ghana have been discussing with their British counterparts in Manchester possible collaboration in missions and leadership development.

The Ghanaian delegation is led by the General Superintendent, Rev Stephen Wengam. Other members are the National President of the Ministers Wives Association , Lady Mrs Monica Wengam, the Assistant General Superintendent Rev Tito Agyei, the General Secretary, Rev Ernest Birikorang , and the General Treasurer , Rev Simon Abu Baba.

They were received at the Headquarters of the UK Assemblies of God by the General Superintendent Rev Glyn Barret.

He briefed the Ghanaian delegation on the recent massive reforms and church planting strategies being pursued by the UK church.

Both leaders serve as heads of commissions of the World Assemblies of God Fellowship- Rev Wengam chairs the Church Health Commission, and Rev Barret, the Church Planting Commission. They seized the moment to discuss collaborative strategies their commissions can adapt to achieve the MM33 Agenda of planting one million churches globally by 2033.

The Ghanaian delegation was taken on a tour of the new headquarters facilities acquired by the UK Assemblies of God and the premises of the Audacious Church pastored by Rev Barret.

Rev Wengam and Rev Barret called on various denominations to prioritize missions and human capital development to enhance the transformation of society in general.

Rev Wengam presented gifts and copies of the recently launched Code of Conduct/Ethics for Ghanaian Assemblies of God pastors and spouses, and the church’s manual to Rev Barret , his wife and other members of the British team.
