Prestea Huni Valley MP Supports 2025 BECE Candidates with Maths Sets
As part of his commitment to improving education in the constituency, the Member of Parliament for Prestea Huni Valley, Hon. Robert Wisdom Cudjoe, has supported Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE) candidates with over 5,000 mathematical sets.
The items were presented on his behalf by the Municipal Chief Executive, Dr. Mathew Kofi Ayeh, to the Municipal Education Directorate of the Prestea Huni Valley Mucipality on Tuesday, June 10.
A total of 5,504 mathematical sets were handed over to benefit all final-year students in both public and private basic schools across the municipality. The gesture cost GHS 165,120.
“Education remains one of the most powerful tools for transforming lives. By investing in our children today, we are safeguarding the future of our constituency,” the MP stated in a message to the students.
He further extended his best wishes to all candidates as they prepare for the nationwide exams.
This year, a total of 569,095 candidates are sitting for the 2025 BECE across Ghana.
The candidates made up of 282,648 boys and 286,447 girls from both public and private basic schools.
The MP’s intervention is expected to boost the confidence and preparedness of candidates within the Prestea Huni Valley Municipality.
