The Electoral Commission (EC) of Ghana has confirmed 13 presidential candidates for the 2024 elections, following the completion of the nomination filing process from September 9 to September 13, 2024.
In a statement released on Friday, the EC announced that all submitted nomination forms underwent thorough scrutiny to ensure they met the necessary legal requirements.
As a result, 13 candidates successfully qualified to contest in the upcoming election.
The EC commended the candidates for adhering to the guidelines and reaffirmed its commitment to conducting a free, fair, and transparent election in December 2024.
