Both foreign and domestic investors who have experienced the services of Metro Mass Transit Limited (MMTL) have expressed interest in partnering with the state transporter to enhance its services.
They propose boosting the company’s fleet and helping to modernize its infrastructure across the country.
At the company’s stand on the first floor of the World Trade Center, Accra, where MMTL is participating in the maiden Ghana Transport & Logistics Fair 2025, investors who visited the stand were impressed with the company’s transformative plan.
This plan is anchored on the government’s resetting agenda. The investors showed keen interest in partnering with MMTL, particularly in areas such as infrastructure development, solar energy, training, and the supply of cost-saving electric and smart vehicles.

In the area of training, one company expressed interest in establishing a driving school in partnership with MMTL.
A team leader, whose name was withheld, stated, “Our Company is more interested in partnering with Metro Mass to establish a driving school. This promises to be massive, as we will be serving the entire country.”
Another group offered services in solar energy, converting petroleum or diesel-powered vehicles into solar-powered ones, and expressed interest in partnering with MMTL.
The Ghana Transport & Logistics Fair 2025, which was opened by President John Dramani Mahama on Wednesday, October 22, 2025, brought together thousands of players and firms from the industry.
The theme of the fair was “Resetting Ghana’s Transport Sector for Improved Connectivity, Innovation, and Investment.”
Notable players in the Transport & Logistics industry, including MMTL, J.A. Plant Pool, PSC Tema Shipyard, and the Ghana Civil Aviation Authority, exhibited their products at the fair.
Mohammed Mubarak Watara, Head of Corporate Communications at MMTL, commented on the interest shown by investors, saying, “The company is glad to welcome any proposal that would be brought before it.” He attributed the interest to the good work of the Managing Director, Cezario Kale, Esq., and his management team.
