The Parliament of Ghana, under the auspices of the Rt. Hon. Speaker, Alban Sumana Kingsford Bagbin, will host the 9th Biennial Conference of the African Parliamentarians against Corruption (APNAC) from November 6 to 9, 2025, at the Alisa Hotel, North Ridge, and Accra.
In a statement signed by the Director of Media Relations, Mr. David Sebastian Damoah, Parliament announced that the conference will bring together lawmakers, anti-corruption experts, civil society representatives, and key stakeholders from across Africa to discuss effective strategies for combating corruption and promoting transparency, accountability, and good governance.
Held under the theme “Strengthening Accountability for Sustainable Development in Africa,” the conference aims to deepen continental collaboration and share best practices that enhance the legislative role in combating corruption.
It will also serve as a platform for dialogue on policy reforms, institutional capacity building, and partnerships across sectors.

The Parliament of Ghana expressed pride in hosting the event, emphasizing that it underscores the country’s ongoing commitment to promoting integrity and ethical governance, both nationally and across the continent.
The Rt. Hon. Speaker, Alban Sumana Kingsford Bagbin, will deliver the keynote address during the official opening ceremony on Friday, November 7, 2025.
