Prez Mahama swears in  five New Envoys

President John Dramani Mahama has sworn in five new ambassadors to represent Ghana abroad, tasking them to immediately advance the country’s economic interests on the global market.Ghanaian food recipes

The new envoys will serve in Saudi Arabia, the Republic of Mali, Cuba, and Malta.

At the swearing-in ceremony, the President charged the ambassadors to pursue economic diplomacy to attract foreign investment.

He underscored the role of diplomatic missions strengthening bilateral relations and supporting national development priorities.

“As heads of mission you are required to reflect this national reset agenda by moving from passive representaion to purposeful engagement from routine reporting to proactive problem solving and from presence to impact. Your mission plans must be firmly aligned with Ghana’s development prorities,” he urged.

2. Lt. Col. Al Hajj Umar Sanda Ahmed, Ambassador to the Republic of Mali

3. M r . Kofi Attor Ambassador to the Republic of Cuba

4. Mr Emmanuel Opeku Ambassador-in-Situ

5. Mrs. Regina Appiah-Sam, High Commissioner to the Republic of Malta
