A former Member of Parliament for Kwadaso for the New Patriotic Party (NPP) in the Ashanti Region, Ms Hilda Addo, has declared her support for Alan Kyerematen.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Speaking in an interview on Akoma FM 87.9 in Kumasi on Wednesday, September 27, 2023, Madam Addo insisted that Alan is the best man to lead the country now.<\/p>\n

She believed that the NPP will feel the pain by Alan\u2019s absence and will know the metrics Alan is made of.<\/p>\n

\u201cThough I am a member of the NPP, I will do open campaign for Alan,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n

According to her, the time has come for all of them to come together and build the country for effective development.<\/p>\n

The former Minister for Trade and Industry, Alan Kyerematen, in a shocking turn of events, resigned from the party on Monday, September 25.<\/p>\n

His resignation came as a shock to many as he recently emerged third in the NPP Super Delegates Conference held on Saturday, August 26.<\/p>\n

The former NPP MP for Kwadaso blamed leadership of the party for the exit of Alan.<\/p>\n

She asserted that the teeming grassroots preferred Alan to lead the party in the 2024 polls.<\/p>\n

Madam Hilda Addo is of the view that the party has been making dangerous mistakes and one of them has resulted in the resignation of Alan.<\/p>\n
