Leader and Flagbearer of the National Democratic Congress ( NDC) ,John Dramani Mahama has assured the Clergy to consider teaming up with the next NDC government to provide quality education in the country.<\/strong><\/p>\n

According to him, the current state of education is not the best for the nation and that there will be Pragmatic steps to ensure the Church helps to revitalise the education.<\/p>\n

Mr. Mahama made this in a write on his Facebook wall after he had met with the Clergy on Monday, May 20,2024.<\/p>\n

The meeting with the Clergy was to sell his 24Hour economy policies for the 2024 general elections.<\/p>\n

“As part of my national dialogue on education, we will consider increased collaboration between religious organisations and the state in school management.”<\/p>\n

“ We must work together to ensure that education remains affordable without compromising quality,” he told the Clergy.<\/em><\/strong><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

It was an honour to meet with the leadership of the Christian Ecumenical Councils for an engaging, forthright, and deep-sighted conversation as part of our ongoing dialogue on the future of our beloved nation.<\/p>\n

As we approach the 2024 elections, we must come together to discuss Ghana’s future. Our decisions in the upcoming elections will have a lasting impact on our nation and its people.<\/p>\n

During our meeting, I emphasised the importance of effective leadership, especially in these challenging times. The Bible reminds us of the profound impact righteous leadership can have on the well-being of a nation and its people. We must reflect on effective and compassionate leadership qualities as we look towards the future.<\/p>\n

I also highlighted the need to consider how we, as members of the Christian community, can actively support and advocate for leadership rooted in justice, honesty, fairness, and compassion. Our collective efforts can contribute to shaping a better future for our nation.<\/p>\n

Additionally, we discussed the valuable partnership between the church and the state in education and health. The church has played a crucial role in establishing schools and healthcare institutions, and we must find ways to collaborate and maximise the efficiency of these institutions.<\/p>\n

As part of my national dialogue on education, we will consider increased collaboration between religious organisations and the state in school management. We must work together to ensure that education remains affordable without compromising quality.<\/p>\n

Similarly, we must forge a new partnership to manage mission hospitals. Collaboration in this area can lead to more efficient and effective healthcare services for our people.<\/p>\n

I am committed to continuing these discussions and look forward to finding innovative solutions through collaboration and dialogue.<\/p>\n

Thank you to the Christian Ecumenical Councils for their valuable contributions to our dialogue on the future of our nation. Together, we can and will build the Ghana that we want.<\/p>\n
