An official of the National Investigative Bureau (NIB) was reportedly attacked at gunpoint in his home in Chrispo City, a suburb of Kasoa in the Central Region.<\/strong><\/p>\n

According to a report by Adom TV on August 21, 2024, the officer and his family were ambushed by armed robbers while they were asleep.<\/p>\n

The robbers, armed with guns and machetes, tied up the officer and his wife before ransacking their home.<\/p>\n

The attackers took valuables including money, gadgets, and the family\u2019s car. During the robbery, the couple was reportedly manhandled after refusing to provide the PIN codes to their bank accounts.<\/p>\n

Following the incident, the officer has relocated his wife and children for their safety.<\/p>\n

Footage broadcasted by Adom TV showed what appeared to be bullet marks on the walls of the officer\u2019s home and also displayed the stolen car, a Toyota Corolla with registration number GX-1651-20.<\/p>\n
