As part of his social intervention policies, Hon Frank Annoh-Dompreh, the Member of Parliament for the Nsawam\/Adoagyiri Constituency in the Eastern Region, is set to engage the elderly in the constituency.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The engagement dubbed, “Time with the Aged,”\u00a0<\/strong><\/em> is to provide an update on his achievements for the constituency and outline his plans leading up to the 2024 elections and beyond.<\/p>\n

The event, scheduled for October 24, will serve as a platform for the elderly to share their concerns, express their needs, and offer insights on how to improve the constituency’s development.<\/p>\n

It is an annual initiative introduced by Mr. Annoh-Dompreh, who currently serves as the Majority Chief Whip in Parliament.<\/p>\n

He will also use this opportunity to seek their continued prayers and support for his efforts to drive progress in the area.<\/p>\n

In line with his inclusive policies, the MP has held several stakeholder engagements with various groups, including teachers, traders, students, parents, and healthcare workers, all aimed at fostering development.<\/p>\n

He has consistently supported education by organizing free classes for candidates preparing for the Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE) and the West Africa Senior School Certificate Examination (WASSCE).<\/p>\n

Additionally, Mr. Annoh-Dompreh has worked alongside the municipal assembly and central government to implement several development projects in the areas of education, healthcare, electricity, and water.<\/p>\n

He also provided relief support to victims of rainstorms and floods during the previous rainy season.<\/p>\n

The MP has pledged to further invest in the youth if re-elected in the December 7 general elections.<\/p>\n

He has urged his constituents to endorse his re-election and to support the New Patriotic Party’s presidential candidate, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia.<\/p>\n

Nsawam Adoagyiri Municipality is one of the 261 Metropolitan, Municipal, and District Assemblies of Ghana and is part of the 33 municipalities and districts in the Eastern Region.<\/p>\n

According to the 2021 Population and Housing Census, the municipality has a population of 155,597, comprising 76,417 males and 79,180 females, with an elderly population of 10,412 aged between 60 and 80 years.<\/p>\n

The municipality shares boundaries with Ga West Municipality in the Greater Accra Region to the south, Suhum Municipal to the north and west, and Akwapim South District to the East.<\/p>\n
