The Member of Parliament (MP) for Dormaa East in the Bono Region, Hon Rachel Owusuah Amma, has reiterated her unwavering commitment to implementing initiatives that will have a positive impact on the lives of her constituents, with a focus on empowering women and youth.<\/strong><\/p>\n

During an interview with ExpressNewsGhana<\/em><\/strong> in Parliament on Tuesday, February 4, 2025, Owusuah emphasized that her target is to uplift women and young people, particularly school dropouts, acknowledging their significant role in national development.<\/p>\n

She promised to improve the living standards of her constituents and fulfil the trust they have placed in her.<\/p>\n

Highlighting her development agenda, the MP outlined three key priorities: addressing youth unemployment, empowering women, improving access to quality education, and meeting the health and water needs of the people of Dormaa East.<\/p>\n

\u201cEducation is the foundation of our development,\u201d she affirmed, underscoring her commitment to supporting youth and women.<\/p>\n

Madam Owusuah expressed confidence that the interventions planned during her tenure would break the cycle of poverty in the constituency.<\/p>\n

\u201cMy people chose me because they trust my ability to drive development,\u201d she remarked. \u201cThey see me as a leader focused on progress, and I will not let them down.\u201d<\/em><\/strong><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

The Dormaa East MP emphasized education as a cornerstone of her development plan, with initiatives aimed at supporting schoolchildren, particularly those in Senior High Schools, Tertiary institutions, and vocational training centers.<\/p>\n
