The General Superintendent, Rev. Stephen Wengam and his wife, Lady Mrs. Monica Wengam have visited the North East Region\u00a0 to fellowship with pastors , retired ministers and their spouses and widows of deceased pastors.<\/strong><\/p>\n

They were warmly received at the Central Assembly of God, Nakpanduri by the Regional Superintendent, Rev. Baba Alhassan .<\/p>\n

Speaking on the church\u2019s theme for the year, “PRAY WITH CEASING (for supernatural Manifestations” 1 Thessalonians 5:17), Rev Wengam challenged pastors to pray anywhere, everywhere and anytime. They should also lead their congregations to pray intensely for supernatural breakthroughs.<\/p>\n

As typical of his apostolic visits, Rev Wengam led the pastors in an intense, three hours, non-stop prayer session.<\/p>\n

The General Superintendent and his wife made personal donations to all retired ministers and their spouses and widows of deceased pastors. The men were given cash gifts while the women received pieces of cloth, oral health accessories and an undisclosed amount of money . Each pastor\u2019s wife also received pieces of cloth and oral health accessories.<\/p>\n

In addition Rev Wengam and Lady Monica donated 100 bags of cement (costing 10,000 cedis) and 40,000 cedis to support the construction of the Regional office building.<\/p>\n

The Regional Superintendent, Rev Baba Alhassan commended the first family of Assemblies of God for being consistent in this gesture. He described the visit as \u201cunique, amazing and memorable.\u201d<\/p>\n
