The discussions will focus on enhancing cooperation across areas of mutual interest, leveraging the strong historical and geographical ties that bind Ghana and Burkina Faso.<\/p>\n

Additionally, the leaders will address regional security concerns, particularly in the Sahel region, as well as broader sub-regional stability and key global geopolitical developments. Their meeting is expected to reinforce the strategic partnership between the two nations.<\/p>\n

This visit marks President Mahama\u2019s first official trip to Burkina Faso since he assumed office on January 7, 2025, following his victory in the December 2024 elections. It highlights Ghana\u2019s commitment to regional diplomacy and collaboration with its West African neighbors.<\/p>\n
