{"id":20481,"date":"2025-05-14T22:53:01","date_gmt":"2025-05-14T22:53:01","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/expressnewsghana.com\/?p=20481"},"modified":"2025-05-14T22:53:01","modified_gmt":"2025-05-14T22:53:01","slug":"assemblies-of-god-leaders-meet-in-takoradi","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/expressnewsghana.com\/?p=20481","title":{"rendered":"Assemblies of God Leaders Meet In Takoradi"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>The Executive Presbytery of Assemblies of God, Ghana has ended a four-day meeting in Takoradi.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The meeting, which was chaired by the General Superintendent Rev Stephen Wengam , was also attended by the wives of the Executive Presbytery who serve as the National Executive Committee of the Ministers Wives Association(MWA). The President of the Association is Lady Mrs Monica Wengam, wife of the General Superintendent.<\/p>\n<p>After each day\u2019s prayer session, lasting between three and five hours, the National Executive Committee of the Ministers Wives Association met separately to deliberate on matters affecting the association.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_20483\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-20483\" style=\"width: 1080px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-20483\" src=\"https:\/\/expressnewsghana.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/05\/WhatsApp-Image-2025-05-14-at-21.35.45_07992d9d.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"1080\" height=\"720\" \/><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-20483\" class=\"wp-caption-text\"><em><strong>Rev Wengam with his executive at the meeting in Takoradi<\/strong><\/em><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>The Executive Presbytery received reports from the regions, departments and agencies.<\/p>\n<p>High on the agenda was the World Congress of the World Assemblies of God Fellowship, scheduled to take place in Accra in October 2026.
