An eight-member Board of the Ghana Infrastructure Investment Fund (GIIF), including three Members of Parliament, has been officially sworn in by the Deputy Minister for Finance, Hon. Thomas Ampem Nyarko, at a ceremony in Accra.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Mr. Nyarko, who also serves as the Member of Parliament for Asuogyaman, reaffirmed the government\u2019s confidence in the newly constituted Board, describing their appointment as a testament to their expertise, leadership, and ability to deliver on the nation\u2019s infrastructure agenda.<\/p>\n

He charged the Board to prioritize the identification and financing of viable infrastructure projects that have the potential to attract both local and international investments.<\/p>\n

\u201cYou are entrusted with the responsibility of spearheading critical infrastructure investments that will drive inclusive development and long-term national transformation,\u201d he emphasized.<\/p>\n

The newly appointed GIIF Board includes Mr. Franklin Mensah as Chairman, Nana Dwemoh Benneh, Chief Executive Officer of GIIF, and Members of Parliament Theresa Lardi Awuni, Eric Afful, and Thomas Worlanyo Tsekpo. Other members are Harriet Anewenah, Linda Quaynor, and Nana Ansah Kwao IV.<\/p>\n

In his remarks, Board Chairman Franklin Mensah expressed gratitude to President John Dramani Mahama and the Ministry of Finance for the opportunity to serve.<\/p>\n

He pledged the Board\u2019s commitment to a results-driven approach and to fulfilling GIIF\u2019s core mandate.<\/p>\n
