The Driver Vehicle and Licensing Authority (DVLA) has officially opened a state-of-the-art Ultra-Premium Service Centre in the North Dayi Constituency<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

The new office, a result of the advocacy and efforts of the Member of Parliament for North Dayi, Hon. Jocelyne Tetteh Quashie, aims to drastically improve access to driver and vehicle licensing services for residents in the constituency and surrounding communities.<\/p>\n

A Leap in Decentralized Service Delivery The establishment of the new office is a significant step in the DVLA’s vision to expand and decentralize its services across the country.<\/p>\n

This Ultra-Premium Centre is designed to offer a seamless, efficient, and technology-driven experience, bringing all authorized DVLA services closer to the people.<\/p>\n

Previously, constituents had to endure long, costly journeys to distant regional offices to access services like Driving Licence applications, renewals, and replacements, Vehicle Registration and ownership transfers, and Issuance of International Driver’s Permits.<\/p>\n

New ‘ND’ Vehicle Registration Prefix In a move to clearly mark the facility\u2019s catchment area, the North Dayi DVLA Centre will now register new vehicles with the unique prefix ‘ND’ (for North Dayi).<\/p>\n

This addition to Ghana’s vehicle registration plate system is part of a broader national strategy by the DVLA to introduce more zonal codes, improve vehicle traceability, and reduce congestion at existing registration centers.<\/p>\n

The new centre is also expected to offer the full range of premium DVLA services, ensuring expedited processing times and personalized assistance.<\/p>\n

The Member of Parliament for North Dayi, Hon. Jocelyne Tetteh Quashie,<\/em><\/strong><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

Socioeconomic Boost and Official Commissioning Hon. Jocelyne Tetteh Quashie expressed her profound satisfaction with the achievement, noting that the facility is not just a service center but an economic catalyst.<\/p>\n

“This Centre will create employment opportunities for our youth and inject vitality into the local economy, contributing significantly to the socioeconomic well-being of our people,” she stated.<\/p>\n

The commissioning ceremony, which was highly attended, saw the presence of key figures, including the CEO of the DVLA, Mr. Julius Neequaye, the District Chief Executive (DCE) Hon. Ernest Adevor, and respected traditional leaders.<\/p>\n

Mr. Neequaye thanked the MP for her support in providing the state-of-the-art facility and urged the public to utilize the centre for its intended purpose, stressing the Authority’s commitment to world-class service delivery and road safety across the nation.<\/p>\n
