He emphasized that a free, professional, and independent media remains central to informed citizenship and effective democratic oversight.<br \/>\n\u200b Celebrating Excellence in Journalism<br \/>\n\u200b The event celebrated outstanding contributions across various platforms, highlighting the power of storytelling in simplifying complex legislative processes for public understanding. The following individuals were recognized for their excellence, integrity, and innovation:<br \/>\n\u200b Best Print Journalist: Ernest Kofi Adu (<i>Daily Guide<\/i>), Best Radio &amp; TV Journalist: Kwaku Asante (<i>Joy News<\/i>), Best Radio &amp; TV Journalist (Twi): Emmanuel Akorli (<i>Peace FM<\/i>), \u200b Best Online Journalist: Elsie Appiah Osei (<i>Ghana News Agency<\/i>), Best Social Media Journalist: Frank Bruce (<i>Odikuro<\/i>)), Best Television Camera Person: Paul Egbenya (<i>Citi FM \/ Channel One<\/i>), Public Service Broadcasting: Racheal Quartey (<i>GTV<\/i>), Leadership and Long-Service Honors<br \/>\n\u200b The Dean of the Parliamentary Press Corps, Simon Agianab, received commendation for his exemplary leadership.
