Zambia and Ghana have signed 10 memoranda of understanding (MoU) aimed at strengthening cooperation between the two countries.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The MoUs were signed on Thursday following bilateral talks between Zambian President Hakainde Hichilema and his Ghanaian counterpart, John Dramani Mahama, who was on a three-day state visit to Zambia.<\/p>\n

According to a Facebook post of Zambia’s State House, the agreements cover defense and security, transport and logistics, civil aviation, health sector collaboration, and regulatory cooperation. Other areas include visa waiver arrangements, standardization and conformity assessment, diaspora affairs, disaster risk management, and trade and export development.<\/p>\n

The statement said the signing of the MoUs reaffirms the strong ties of friendship between the two countries and underscores their joint commitment to deepening bilateral relations, strengthening institutional collaboration, and promoting sustainable development for the mutual benefit of their citizens.<\/p>\n
