History was made in the Northern Region last week Tuesday as the farming community of Kojo Boni officially bid farewell to decades of water scarcity.<\/strong><\/p>\n

On March 24, 2026, residents gathered in high spirits to witness the commissioning of an ultra-modern mechanized borehole, marking the first time the community has gained access to safe, reliable, and portable drinking water.<\/p>\n

This transformative intervention was birthed through a strategic international partnership between Faith in Humanity (FiH), a Swiss-based non-governmental organization, and their local partners, Christ Love Community Church in Adenta.<\/p>\n

Together with their sponsors, the organizations successfully implemented the project to address the dire need for sustainable water infrastructure in the Kpandai District.<\/p>\n

The arrival of the mechanized facility is expected to serve as a cornerstone for improved public health and socio-economic development within the enclave.<\/p>\n

During the colorful ceremony, stakeholders emphasized that access to clean water is a fundamental right that underpins the growth of any society.<\/p>\n

\u200bSpeaking at the commissioning, the President of FiH, Mr. Koloumban Baumgastner, joined by Country Director Rev. Isaac Antwi, underscored the importance of sustainability.<\/p>\n

The leaders jointly urged the people of Kojo Boni to adopt a strict maintenance culture for the new water kiosk.<\/p>\n

They noted that by taking ownership of the facility, the community would effectively eradicate the prevalence of water-borne diseases that have historically plagued the area.<\/p>\n

\u200bAs the taps were turned on for the first time, the milestone stood as a powerful testament to the impact of a shared vision.<\/p>\n

For Kojo Boni, the project represents more than just a new facility; it signifies a healthier future and a significant leap toward modern development.<\/p>\n
