Adamus Resources Limited has strongly rejected allegations linking it to illegal Chinese miners operating on its concessions, insisting it has consistently led aggressive efforts to flush out illegal mining activities across its operational areas.<\/strong>
\nIn a statement, the company described as \u201cmisleading and unfounded\u201d claims contained in a letter revoking its mining leases at Akango, Salman and Nkroful, which suggested that the illegal miners had connections to Adamus.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe alleged illegal Chinese cited in the revocation letter are not in any way linked to Adamus Resources Limited,\u201d the company clarified.<\/p>\n

\u201cThey are rather associated with a separate company that was duly licensed by the Minerals Commission to provide mining services.\u201d<\/p>\n

Adamus further distanced itself from any individuals connected to the suspects, stating emphatically that \u201cwith all the emphasis we can muster, Ebenezer Okyere, who reportedly bailed the alleged illegal miners, has never been linked to Adamus Resources Limited.\u201d<\/p>\n

The company highlighted what it describes as a sustained and risky campaign against illegal mining, particularly within its concessions at Akango East.<\/p>\n

According to the statement, its security task forces have on several occasions engaged armed illegal miners in confrontations aimed at protecting its legally acquired concessions.<\/p>\n

\u201cOur security teams have, at the peril of their lives, confronted fully armed illegal miners on multiple occasions,\u201d the company noted, adding that these actions demonstrate its firm stance against illegal mining.<\/p>\n

Adamus Resources Limited operates gold mining concessions in the Western Region, including Akango, Salman and Nkroful\u2014areas known for significant gold deposits but also prone to illegal mining activities, commonly referred to as galamsey.<\/p>\n

The company maintains that it has consistently worked within Ghana\u2019s legal and regulatory framework while collaborating with state authorities to safeguard its concessions.<\/p>\n

\u201cThese confrontations and our relentless onslaught against illegal miners underscore our commitment to responsible mining,\u201d the statement stressed.<\/p>\n

\u201cAdamus Resources Limited remains eternally committed to operating within the confines of Ghana\u2019s mining and environmental laws.\u201d<\/p>\n
