{"id":3483,"date":"2022-01-02T13:49:01","date_gmt":"2022-01-02T13:49:01","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/expressnewsghana.com\/2022\/01\/02\/mp-secures-nursing-training-school-for-sene-west\/"},"modified":"2022-01-02T13:52:37","modified_gmt":"2022-01-02T13:52:37","slug":"mp-secures-nursing-training-school-for-sene-west","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/expressnewsghana.com\/?p=3483","title":{"rendered":"MP secures Nursing Training  School for  Sene west"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><strong>The member of parliament for Sene west constituency in the Bono East Region Hon Kwame Ampofo Twumasi has disclosed that, through his lobbying skills, he has secured a land for the construction of a nursing training school in the constituency<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>According to Hon Ampofo Twumasi, the chiefs and elders have agreed and make available a piece of land between Drobe and Lemu for the construction a nursing training school which could be the only and first time tertiary institution in the two Sene area.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>He said this during a maiden MP&#8217;s youth employment program where he donated to some constituents 50 sewing machines, 33 hair dryers, three Tricycles, three sets of Jersey and footballs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Currently, the Sene West constituency has no tertiary institution with the total population of 69,836.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The only higher in institution in the constituency\/District is the only senior high school which was established some 31 years ago in Kwame Danso, the district capital.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"683\" height=\"1024\" src=\"https:\/\/expressnewsghana.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/01\/FB_IMG_1641131094882-683x1024.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-3482\" srcset=\"https:\/\/expressnewsghana.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/01\/FB_IMG_1641131094882-683x1024.jpg 683w, https:\/\/expressnewsghana.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/01\/FB_IMG_1641131094882-600x900.jpg 600w, https:\/\/expressnewsghana.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/01\/FB_IMG_1641131094882-200x300.jpg 200w, https:\/\/expressnewsghana.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/01\/FB_IMG_1641131094882.jpg 720w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 683px) 100vw, 683px\" \/><figcaption><strong><em>Hon  Kwame Ampofo Twumasi<\/em><\/strong><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Kwame Danso Senior High Technical school was established by the Government of Ghana, Ministry of Education and Ghana Education Service on the 28th of January 1991 as a Day and Mixed School.
