President John Dramani Mahama will on Saturday, September 10,2022, join the Agbogbomefia of the Asogli State, Togbe Afede XIV, Chiefs and people of Asogli state in the Volta Region for the celebration of the Annual Yam Festival.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

A statement issued and signed by Hon James Gunu, Secretary to the Volta Regional Chapter of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) indicates that the former Ghana’s leader would enroute to the region through the Ho domestic airport.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The statement added that, prior to Mahama’s arrival on arrival on Saturday, the Regional Chairman, Henry Ametefe, MP for Ho Central, Benjamin Komla Kpodo will lead a delegation on behalf of H.E. John Mahama to pay homage to the Agbogbomefia of the Asogli State, Togbe Afede XIV at the forecourt of the \u00a0Asogli State Palace on Friday, September 9.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

H.E. JOHN MAHAMA STORMS HO THIS WEEKEND FOR THE ASORGLI YAM FESTIVAL CELEBRATIONS<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Former President, John Dramani Mahama, has accepted the invitation of the Agbobgomefia, Togbe Afede XIV and the Asogli State to participate in this year\u2019s Yam Festival which is on the theme LET\u2019S ESCHEW GREED, UNITE FOR PEACE, DEVELOPMENT AND PROSPERITY.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Former President is expected to touch down at the Ho Airport at 1 pm on Saturday, September 10, 2022, where he will be received on arrival by Party executives, members of parliament, and other stakeholders before moving to the durbar ground at Jubilee Park, Ho..<\/p>\n\n\n\n
