THE Member of Parliament (MP) for Akatsi South in the Volta Region, Hon Bernard Ahiafor on Friday, December 2, 2022, donated a tricycle popularly known as \u201cAboboya\u201d to Edem Ackuaku, the 20122 Overall Best farmers in Akatsi South Municipality.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The donation was made following a pledge the MP made during a previous Farmers Day celebration.<\/p>\n

This year\u2019s celebration was held at Agornu Kpokplorte, under the theme,<\/p>\n

At the end of the day, over 15 gallant farmers were awarded and given various farm inputs and implements, certificates, among others.<\/p>\n

In addition, Edem Ackuaku received Sprayer, cutlasses, and several other farming implements and a certificate.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

Making the presentation to the Overall best farmer, the MP, who is a Ranking Member of the Constitutional, Legal and Parliamentary Affairs Committee of Parliament applauded the overall best farmers for working hard to be crowned as the ultimate 38th best farmer in the Municipality.<\/p>\n

He urged the awardees to continue to work hard to produce more agricultural outputs to support the municipality and Ghana as a whole.<\/p>\n

Hon Ahiafor further pledged his total commitment to supporting farmers in the municipality to feed the people of Akatsi and the nation..<\/p>\n
