The Member of Parliament for Chereponi, Hon Abdul-Razak Tahidu has called on his constituents, especially drivers to be extra careful on the road and respect other road users during this festive season.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The MP made the call in his Christmas message to the Constituents in parliament, Wednesday, December 21, 2022, when parliament recess for Christmas.<\/p>\n

A\u00a0 high number of road accidents is usually recorded during the festive season, which typically injures drivers, passengers, and road users and sometimes loss of life and property, which causes distress and pain to loved ones, family, and friends.<\/p>\n

This, Hon Tahidu said drivers in Chereponi and the nation as a whole should put a stop to overspeeding, overloading, wrongful overtaking, drunk driving, texting while driving, and pay attention to road traffic regulations to ensure their safety and that of passengers.<\/p>\n
