The Richard Nii Armah Quaye (RNAQ) Foundation, in partnership with the Ga Mantse, His Royal Majesty King Tackie Teiko Tsuru II Foundation, has awarded scholarships to 115 Ga-Dangme students to pursue various tertiary courses across the country.
The students, who are brilliant but needy, received between GH¢15,000 and GH¢50,000 as their scholarship packages, covering tuition fees, among others.
It would be recalled that the RNAQ Ga-Dangme Scholarship Support Fund was launched in Accra by the President of RNAQ Holdings, Mr. Richard Nii Armah Quaye, in collaboration with the Ga Mantse, HRM King Tackie Teiko Tsuru II, on 14th September 2026, under the theme, “One Ga Dangme, One Heart, Rising Together,” as part of the effort to support Ga-Dangme students and enable them to enroll into tertiary education.
Speaking at the presentation ceremony of the scholarship packages at the Ga Mantse Palace in Kaneshie, a suburb of Accra, Mr Richard Quaye, founder of the RNAQ Foundation and RNAQ Holdings, said the Foundation seeks to support brilliant but needy students from the Ga-Dangme community and forms part of the drive to build the academic capacities of students and enable them to be gainfully employed in the workplace.
“The foundation has done its part, as students must also be committed to their studies to enable them to achieve academic excellence”, adding that their performance will be strictly monitored, as scholarships will be withdrawn if students continue to fail in their respective academic disciplines.
He therefore advised students to refrain from social vices and take their studies seriously and promised that students who perform exceptionally will be employed in his Group of Companies and seed capital will also be granted to those who prefer to venture into entrepreneurship.

Mr. Richard Quaye expressed his gratitude to the Ga Mantse for the successful collaboration on the educational initiative and assured that the project will lift the image and rebrand the Ga-Dangme community into higher and academic laurels for the coming generations.
For his part, the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Quick Angels, Mr Emmanuel Lamptey, said that out of the 115 students who received the scholarship packages, 64.3 per cent obtained First Class, while 35.7 per cent had Second Class Upper Division, adding that Accra Technical University (ATU) and the University of Cape Coast received the highest scholarship packages.
In a speech read on his behalf, the Ga Mantse, King Tackie Teiko Tsuru II, said the presentation of the scholarship packages was timely, and said the gesture will help uplift the academic image of students in the Ga-Dangme community in the fields of all working endeavours.
“The Foundation is working fervently to increase the intake of beneficiaries and promised that those who were not yet picked will soon be added in the next phase as the initiative progresses,” he said, noting that no brilliant student will be left behind, since the foundation will create the platform for the Ga-Dangme State to build back its academic glory.
