Hon Dawuni Abukari Member of Parliament(MP) for Wulensi in the Northern Region, has assured his constituents of his resolved to work hard to justify the confidence reposed in him during the December 7, 2020 general elections.

He said his one year in parliament has opened his eyes and he has resolved to work hard to boost the economic development and to create an enabling environment for jobs to improve livelihood.

Hon Dawuni made these remarks in an interview with EXPRESSNEWSGHANA in parliament when the House resumed from recess last Month in Accra.

The parliamentary recess is a period parliament break from sitting in Chambers for MPs to meet their Constituents for development issues.

During the recess, Hon Dawuni said he commissioned new and rehabilitated some boreholes for water in some communities including Moba, Wunlensi West, among others.

He also visited some schools and health facilities and made some social intervention by of way providing their immediate needs.

The MP who sounded passionate about the development needs of the area said Water, Roads and electricity remained the most priority and that he would continue to lobby government and development agencies to fix some water and roads.
He added that, you also used the opportunity to support the youth with sports kits to help them.unlock their talents.

The young lawmaker who described himself as the grassroots man said he is well informed of the fundamental problems affecting his constituents and would use resources available to harness the potential of his people, especially the youth and women.

He expressed gratitude to the people Wulensi for the opportunity to lead and serve them in parliament, nothing that the Constituency would be well represented in parliament to bring the needed development to the area.

“I will continue to thank my people of Wulensi for electing me to represent them in parliament and to reassure them that, I have not forgotten my promises, very soon Wulensi will see real changes they voted for. It is too early but I can assure them, I will work to justify their votes for me,” Hon Dawuni said.
