Siddique Abubakar Sponsors 1000 New NDC Membership Cards in Ayawaso North
A youth Activitist and member of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Siddique Abubakar Suleiman, has paid for over 1000 Membership Cards to party members in the Ayawaso North Constituency of the Greater Accra Region.
The Card would be distributed free to the NDC members of the constituency.
The support followed the NDC decision to replace all existing membership cards for its registered members.
The cash payment for the membership cards was done on behalf of Mr Siddique Abubakar Suleiman by Mr Tajudeen Abubakar, aka Staff Taju a Branch Chairman.
According to Mr Tajudeen, Suleiman’s supports was as a result of calls by members on the need to make available the party cards.
He added that, the 1000 party cards would be shared among party branch executives and members as part of his support to re-organise the branches towards elections in 2024.
The 1000 membership cards was procured at a total cost of GHS2000.
The National Executive Committee of the NDC has embarked on a nationwide outreach programme to sensitize the members about the new membership cards.
Each constituency in the16 regions of the country has been given quota of a thousand membership cards.
The Party members are expected to purchase these membership cards at the cost of GHS2 per card.
