Albert Kwabena Dwumfour, the main contender in the Ghana Journalists Association ( GJA) elections has won the elections in a landslide.

He beat his contenders Dave Agbenu of Ghanaian Times and Gayheart Mensah to win the election.

The victory of Albert Dwumfour puts to rest the smear campaign against his person and the propaganda linking Tobinco to the entire elections.

With the General Secretary position, Kofi Yeboah beat Akwasi Agyemang of Adom fm to retain the General Secretary position.

With Organizing Secretary position, Dominic Hlordzi of GBC beat his contender Mary Mensah of Graphic to with that position.

With the Public Relations Position, Rebecca Ekpe of GBC beat Ceasar Abagali of GNA to win it.

The rest of the positions, Vice President and Treasurer were retained by Linda Asante of GNA and Audrey Dekalu of GNA respectively as they went unopposed.
