The Deputy Majority Leader of Parliament, Hon Alexander Kwamena Afenyo-Markin on Friday, paid a courtesy call on the head of the Perez Church, Archbishop Charles Agyinasare in his office at Dzorwulu in Accra.

The meeting was cordial and centered on the mutual interest of the nation and development, among others.

Hon Afenyo-Markin revealed this in a post on his Facebook on Friday, January 27, 2023.

“I paid a courtesy call on Archbishop Charles Agyinasare, founder of the Perez Chapel International, a Pentecostal-Charismatic ministry in Ghana and owner of Perez University in Winneba,” the MP for Efutu stated on his Facebook.

The Perez University College is located at Pomadze-Winneba, along the Winneba-Swedru highway, about a kilometer from Winneba roundabout (Junction).

Despite its close proximity to Winneba Municipality, it administratively falls under Gomoa East District Assembly.

The University College is an educational initiative of the Perez Chapel International which started as a Bible College in September 1992 in Tamale.

It became World Miracle Ministerial College (WMMC) and Miracle Ministerial College (MMC) when it was relocated in Accra when the founder moved in 1994.

In 2013 the institution’s name was changed to Perez College (when the Church’s name was changed to Perez Chapel) with authorization from the National Accreditation Board.
