The Member of Parliament for Tatale/Sanguli, Hon. William Ntebe Ayo, has reaffirmed his commitment to fast-tracking development across the constituency, pledging to double his efforts following his decisive victory in the December 7, 2024, parliamentary election.

Speaking in an interview with ExpressNewsGhana, Hon. Ayo said the trust reposed in him would not be taken for granted, promising to focus on key areas such as road infrastructure, water and electricity supply, healthcare, economic empowerment, and youth employment.

“I want to thank my constituents for the confidence they have shown in me. I am happy they chose me to be their Member of Parliament—it is a decision they will not regret. The work I started six months ago will now continue at an even faster pace. I will need the support of everyone to bring the necessary development to our constituency,” he said.

The MP revealed that efforts are already underway to tackle unemployment in the area, particularly by facilitating opportunities for youth in security services and various government flagship programs.

Hon. Ayo called for unity among constituents regardless of political affiliation, urging all residents to rally behind the development agenda of Tatale/Sanguli.

“The elections are over. Now is the time for all of us to come together and support the progress of our beautiful constituency,” he stressed.

On national issues, the MP commended President John Dramani Mahama for the strides made during the first 120 days of his administration. He noted that the President had successfully created a more favourable business climate, reduced inflation, and stabilized the economy.

“He has transformed what was once a harsh business environment into a more moderate and productive one. Anyone who claims nothing has been achieved in the past four months is simply not in Ghana,” Hon. Ayo stated.

He also lauded the President’s commitment to transparency and accountability, describing the current governance atmosphere as one where “voice and accountability are open, and transparency is heightened.”

Hon. Ayo expressed confidence in President Mahama’s leadership, urging him to maintain the current momentum and extend the gains to other critical sectors including agriculture, infrastructure, and anti-corruption efforts.
