The Sigibunga Nimoro Modam Pepper Sellers Association in the Kassina/Nankana West District has donated a range of essential medical equipment to the Paga District Hospital in a significant gesture aimed at strengthening healthcare delivery in the area.

The donation included key items such as an infant phototherapy unit, an oxygen concentrator, and other critical medical supplies.

These materials are expected to boost the hospital’s capacity to deliver quality healthcare, particularly in emergency and neonatal care.

Making the presentation, Chairman of the Paga Youth Movement, Mr. Wenawome Duriyem Aborah, emphasized the importance of supporting healthcare institutions in underserved communities.

“The impact of this donation is expected to significantly improve the hospital’s ability to provide quality healthcare services to our people. We are committed to giving back to our community and supporting our healthcare workers. Access to quality healthcare is a fundamental right, and we are proud to contribute toward making that a reality,” he stated.

The Secretary of the Association, Mr. Ibrahim Kande, added that the gesture reflects the group’s dedication to community well-being.

“This donation demonstrates the Association’s strong commitment to improving the lives of people in the district and promoting a healthier, more resilient community,” he said.

Receiving the items on behalf of the hospital, Medical Superintendent Mr. Didie Oteng expressed heartfelt gratitude to the Association.

“This generous donation has come at a critical time and will go a long way in enhancing our service delivery. We are deeply grateful to the Sigibunga Nimoro Modam Pepper Sellers Association for their timely and thoughtful support,” Mr. Oteng noted.

The hospital administration also called on other benevolent individuals and organizations to emulate the gesture and support healthcare facilities across the country, especially in rural and underserved areas
