Sakoti Circuit, Six schools received educational learning materials.
In Sakoti, six basic schools have received educational learning materials in the Nabdam District of the Upper East region region.
The items presented include, books, pens, pencils, erasers and other educational materials.
The Donations was done by the 2024 parliamentary Candidate Lawyer Lamti Apanga, who is also the deputy Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the Gaming Commission Ghana.
Presenting the items, lawyer Lamti Apanga said that,” I heard the information from one of the officers from the education office that, some of the students do not have textbooks, writing exercise books, pens, and pencils ,just basic learning materials to aid them in their learning.” He emphasized.

“And so as a son of the soil and some one who comes from the soil, it is very important I give back to my community.” “I was once a school child in Zalerigu Primary school and so when we grow we must remember our people.” He indicated.

According to Lawyer Lamti Apanga, our communities needs us, development is a collective responsibility.
The items were received by Robert Gella, the District’s school improvement support officer ( SISO) Sekoti Circuit.
The headteacher of the Sekoti primary school, Abakere Sumaila praised Lawyer Lamti Apanga for his kind gesture and called for other benevolent individuals to come to the aid of school, he promised that, the school will put the items donated to good used.

Lawyer Lamti Apanga also used the opportunity to commissioned a borehole project he initiated during the 2024 Parliamentary Primaries for a community in Zalerigu electoral area.
“During my campaign in 2024, I initiated a borehole project in a community in Zalerigu, today, I am here to commission it and hand it over to the people. Thankfully, it is ready and functional.” Lawyer Apanga stated.
