The Tatale-Sanguli District is celebrating a major milestone as its District Chief Executive, Hon. Mary Tagba, has been officially nominated for the distinguished “Adaptability & Social Infrastructure Advocate Honor.”

This high-profile recognition will be conferred upon her at the upcoming Blackstar Acclamation Honorary Award Summit 2025/26, scheduled to take place at the Movenpick Ambassador Hotel in Accra on Friday, March 27th, 2026.

​The award highlights Hon. Mary Tagba’s exceptional leadership and her tireless commitment to transforming the social landscape of her district.

Under her tenure, Tatale-Sanguli has witnessed a surge in innovative urban planning and the strategic development of infrastructure that addresses the evolving needs of the local population.

This year’s summit is themed “Rebuilding Trust, Restoring Hope: A New Era of Governance in Ghana.”

The event aims to reflect on the performance and public service commitments of leadership within the Fourth Republic, specifically highlighting the broader goals of national growth and stability.

Hon. Mary Tagba will be celebrated alongside some of the most influential figures in the country, emphasizing the critical role that district-level leadership plays in the overall development of the nation.

The ceremony promises to be a historic assembly of Ghana’s elite.

The Vice President, Prof. Jane Naana Opoku Agyemang, is expected to attend as the Special Guest of Honor, with the Speaker of Parliament, Rt. Honorable Alban Sumana Kingsford Bagbin, presiding as Chairman.

The event will also be graced by Ga Mantse, His Royal Majesty Tackie Teiko Tsuru, and Togbe Afede XIV, the Executive Chairman of the World Trade Center.

​To mark her outstanding performance, Hon. Mary Tagba will be decorated with a full suite of honors, including a ceremonial gown, a trophy, a medal, a badge, an official citation, and a certificate of merit.

The night will also feature insights from a global panel of speakers, including Keynote Speaker Prof. Joseph Tyler Cuddeford from the USA, as well as distinguished experts from the UK, Malaysia, Singapore, and Ghana.
