NDC National Chairman Assures Govt Completion of Abandoned Projects in Nabdam
The National Chairman of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Johnson Asiedu Nketiah, has assured residents of the Nabdam Constituency in the Upper East Region that all stalled development projects, including the Agenda 111 hospital projects initiated under the erstwhile NPP administration will be completed and made fully operational.
Addressing residents during his thank-you tour of the area, Mr. Asiedu Nketiah acknowledged concerns over delays but emphasized that efforts are underway to ensure the projects deliver on their intended purpose of improving healthcare access nationwide.
“Those Agenda 111 projects that were started to strengthen healthcare infrastructure across the country will soon be completed and fully operational,” he stated, drawing loud cheers from the crowd.
He stressed that the completion and operationalization of the hospitals would significantly enhance healthcare delivery, particularly in underserved communities.

According to him, the facilities will reduce the burden on existing hospitals, cut down long travel times for patients, and ultimately save lives.
“The government remains committed to ensuring that all 111 hospitals are properly constructed, equipped, and ready to serve the people.
Nabdam and the surrounding constituencies stand to benefit immensely,” he added.
Mr. Asiedu Nketiah also expressed gratitude to the people of Nabdam for their continued support and urged them to remain patient as efforts intensify to fulfill the promises tied to the development of the District
“I encourage you to stay hopeful and confident. These projects will soon see the light of day,” he assured.
His remarks were met with excitement from residents, many of whom view the completion of the hospitals as a crucial step toward addressing longstanding healthcare challenges in the Upper East Region.
The anticipated operationalization of the facilities is expected to boost not only healthcare delivery but also socio-economic development in the area.
The NDC National Chairman was accompanied by members of the party’s national leadership, regional executives, and constituency and branch officials during the one-day tour.
The visit formed part of a broader engagement across Talensi, Nabdam, Bongo, and Bolgatanga East constituencies, aimed at strengthening party unity, interacting with grassroots supporters, and assessing development needs within the region.
