Customs Receives Green Light to auction State Cars, others
The Customs Division of the Ghana Revenue Authority (GRA) has been given the green light by the Office of the Special Prosecutor to auction state vehicles and other goods.
The auction could take effect from Monday, 12 September 2022,.
The Special Prosecutor, Kissi Agyebeng, gave the green light in a press statement issued in Accra.
The Customs Division was recently directed by the OSP to cease an auction for investigation on matters bordering on some state property.
The Commissioner of the Customs Division was subsequently relief of from his duties and office and asked to hand over to his immediate Deputy Commissioner.
