The newly elected Chairman of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) in the Navrongo Central Constituency, Solomon Kwovia Navanse, has pledged to unite and rebuild the party ahead of the 2028 general elections, while paying glowing tribute to the political figures who helped shape his leadership journey.

Speaking after assuming office, Mr. Navanse expressed profound appreciation to the late former Navrongo Central MP, Kofi Adda, former Upper East Regional Minister Paulina Abayage, and the party’s 2024 parliamentary candidate, Alhaji Abdallah Otito Achuliwor, describing them as the architects of his political career.

“These individuals shaped my political life; they turned my dreams into reality. I call them my political godfathers and godmother because they gave me their blessings, guidance and unwavering support,” he said.

Mr. Navanse used the occasion to call for reconciliation among party members, stressing that unity and forgiveness would be critical if the NPP is to regain political power in the constituency and nationally in the 2028 elections.

“We need to reconcile with one another. We have stepped on each other’s toes, but we must forgive one another if we are to win power and form government in the 2028 general elections,” he urged.

The new constituency chairman also appealed to party members who may have become disillusioned or distanced themselves from the NPP to return and support the new leadership.

“I want to appeal to every dissatisfied party member to come back home. This is our mother party, the New Patriotic Party. We need everyone on board so we can organise effectively, rebuild together and secure victory in 2028,” he stated.

Mr. Navanse said his administration would prioritize healing divisions, strengthening the party’s grassroots structures and fostering collaboration among members to position the NPP for electoral success.

His message of gratitude, reconciliation and inclusiveness marks the beginning of what he describes as a new chapter for the NPP in Navrongo Central, with renewed determination to restore unity and reclaim victory in the next general elections.
