Media General Group Limited, owners of TV3, Onua TV and others, has been adjudged as the CIMG Media Organisation and Marketing Oriented Organisation for the Year, 2022.

The award was conferred by the Governing Council of the Chartered Institute of Marketing, Ghana at the 34th Annual National Marketing Performance Awards ceremony held at the weekend, September 30, 2023, at the Labadi Beach Hotel.

A citation that accompanied the award said, “This award is in recognition of your ability to convey the message, create desire and appeal to your audience and the positive impact you make on society at large. These, coupled with the ethical execution of the informative and educative contents, make you exceptional, compared with other media houses for 2022.”

The CIMG Council commended Media General Group for the feat, “The CIMG seizes this opportunity to congratulate you on your ability to ensure business continuity in the face of the challenges brought about by global economic issues in the year under review.”
The Group Chief Executive Officer of Media General, Madam Beatrice Agyemang says, “At Media General, we do not compromise on the ethics of the profession. Those are our guiding principles. No wonder we keep winning. Journalist of the Year, 2021 by Portia Gabor and recently, BBC Komla Dumor Award by Paa Kwesi Asare. We are grateful to all our stakeholders, especially the advertisers for their continuous custom.”

The General Manager Commercial, Media General, Mr. Daniel Amartey Amarh received the award on behalf of the organisation with support from some staff members.
