Rev.Wengam and Assemblies of God Hails Nana Konadu Agyeman Rawlings’ Legacy during Condolence Visit
The Executive Presbytery of Assemblies of God , Ghana, led by its General Superintendent, Rev Stephen Wengam , has paid a condolence visit to the family of the late former 1st Lady, Nana Konadu Agyeman Rawlings, in Accra.
Rev Wengam said Nana Konadu wrote herself into history by supporting her husband, Flt J.J. Rawlings to “lead this country and lay a rock-solid foundation for our dear nation Ghana.”
“She is a woman we all adored and admired , a woman who inspired motherhood and womanhood, and a woman who led her life fighting for the vulnerable, “Rev Wengam added.

He praised the “critical role Nana Konadu played in the enactment of the Intestate Succession Act, saying that legacy would extol her name well after her death.
Rev Wengam said Nana Konadu did not only serve her nation well but also produced children who are contributing to national development.
He prayed that Nana Konadu’s death would help unite the grieving nation.

Present were her daughter, Zenator Agyeman Rawlings who is also the MP for Osu- Kloley- Klotey and the son, Kamithi .
The General Superintendent was accompanied by her wife, Lady Mrs Monica Wengam who doubles as President of the Ministers Wives Association, the Assistant General Superintendent, Rev Dr Godwin Tito Agyei, the General Secretary, Rev Dr Ernest Binkorang and the Treasurer, Rev Dr Simon Abu Baba.
