Rev Stephen Wengam Calls for Innovation to Drive the Church’s Role in Nation Building
The General Superintendent of Assemblies of God, Ghana, Rev Stephen Wengam has underlined the need to adopt innovative ways to transform the church into a more significant organization in nation building.
He was addressing a conference of Ghanaian Assemblies of God pastors and wives and leaders at the Vicenza Assembly in Vicenza, Italy.
Rev Wengam urged the 160 participants to scale up moves to achieve an all-round church growth while highlighting the role of prayer in this respect.

The General Superintendent also touched on loyalty in organizational development. Loyalty, he said, should not be compromised under any circumstances.
Rev Wengam presented copies of the Code of Conduct/ Ethics of Assemblies of God, Ghana, for Pastors and Spouses to each participant.
On the sidelines, he held a meeting with the national leadership of the Ghanaian Assemblies of God churches in Italy and Austria to discuss church health matters and foreign missions.
The National Field Director, Rev Mumuni Boakye described the event as historic and unprecedented, and the impact, life-transforming.
