A seasoned politician and former New Patriotic Party (NPP) Regional Treasurer, Mr. Edmund Bombande, is seeking to revive his political career by vying for the position of Upper East Regional Organiser.

Having lost his position some time ago, Bombande is motivated by the party’s dismal performance in the region during the 2024 general election, where they failed to secure any parliamentary seats.

A Call for Renewed Leadership

Bombande expressed his disappointment with the party’s current state in the region, emphasizing the need for renewed leadership and strategies to revitalize the party’s fortunes.

He believes that his vast experience and tireless work ethic make him an ideal candidate for the position.

Vast Experience
Bombande has been supporting the party since 1992 and has held key positions, including Regional Treasurer.

He aims to bring the party back to its feet and regain its footing in the region.

Bombande emphasizes the importance of engaging with local communities and developing policies that address their concerns.

Unity and Victory

He urges all NPP supporters to uphold unity within the party, paving the way for victory in the 2028 general election.

Bombande’s comeback bid presents an opportunity for the party to tap into his experience and expertise. With a strong track record of supporting the party, he is confident in his ability to organize and mobilize the grassroots, develop effective policies, and present bold solutions to the party’s challenges.

As the party considers its options for the Upper East Regional Organiser position, Bombande’s bid is certainly one to watch. His determination to revitalize the party’s fortunes and lead it to victory in the 2028 general election is evident in his words: “God willing, if I am given the opportunity, I will work tirelessly to ensure that I bring the NPP party back to its feet.”
