PRINPAG Confirms Jeorge Wilson Kingson as Executive Secretary
National Executive Committee of the Private Newspapers and Online News Publishers Association of Ghana (PRINPAG) has officially confirmed Mr. Jeorge Wilson Kingson as the substantive Executive Secretary of the Association.
The confirmation was unanimously approved at PRINPAG’s Second Quarter National Executive Committee meeting held on Wednesday, May 21, 2025, at the Association’s National Secretariat in Kokomlemle, Accra.
Mr. Kingson’s confirmation comes after nearly two years of serving in an acting capacity, a role he assumed in September 2023.
His appointment was made in accordance with the Association’s constitution and received full endorsement from the Executive Committee members.
President of PRINPAG, Mr. Andrew Edwin Arthur, commended Mr. Kingson for his diligence and commitment to the Association during his tenure in the acting role.

“Ever since Jeorge was placed in an Acting Executive Secretary capacity, he has demonstrated remarkable leadership and commitment. His hard work has yielded tangible progress, and we are confident that under his continued leadership, the Association will be further strengthened and united,” Mr. Arthur remarked.
In addition to his new role, Mr. Kingson continues to serve as PRINPAG’s Public Affairs and External Relations Officer—a position in which he has significantly enhanced the Association’s visibility and stakeholder engagement.
Mr Kingson experience in media relations, policy advocacy, and institutional development has positioned him as a key asset in PRINPAG’s strategic growth.
As Executive Secretary, Mr. Kingson will oversee the day-to-day administration of the Association, coordinate the implementation of its policies and programmes, and provide strategic and logistical support to advance PRINPAG’s mission of promoting ethical journalism and supporting independent media in Ghana.
The Association congratulated Mr. Kingson on his confirmation and expressed confidence in his ability to lead PRINPAG to new heights.
