The District Chief Executive (DCE) for Tatale-Sanguli, Mary Tagba, has reiterated her administration’s resolve to place education and essential social services at the forefront of the district’s development agenda. She assured residents that no child will be left behind as the government continues to roll out life-changing interventions.

Addressing the media, Madam Tagba highlighted several ongoing and upcoming projects aimed at improving the quality of education and healthcare, as well as enhancing access to clean water.

Communities including Tugbeni, Sabonjida, Tikasani, Nbolado, and Christian Heritage are among the beneficiaries.

According to the DCE, contracts have already been awarded for the construction of CHPS compounds and three-unit classroom blocks with office spaces in selected communities.

The projects she believes will significantly improve access to essential services.

In a major relief for residents, especially during the dry season, Madam Tagba disclosed that 15 solar-mechanized boreholes have been approved to tackle the district’s long-standing water challenges.

She assured the public that reliable access to clean and potable water will soon become a reality.

Health Facilities

In the health sector, the DCE said the Assembly is to construct and furnish 1 CHPS Compound at Tikasirini and 1 CHPS Compound at Kogyili.

Education Infrastructure

On education, the Assembly is constructing a 6-Unit Classroom E-Block with Office and Store, a 4-Seater KVIP toilet, and a 2-Unit open urinal at Sabonjida, Construction of a 3-Unit Classroom E-Block with Office and Store, a 4-Seater KVIP toilet, and a 2-Unit open urinal at Christian Heritage, Tatale, and Construction of a 2-Unit Kindergarten Block with Office and Store at Sabonjida

Water Projects

To end the water crisis, the District Chief Executive is Drilling and mechanizing 15 solar-powered boreholes across some communities, including Tikasirini, Kogyili, Nachamba No. 2, Talendo, Dondoni, Chakundo, Polarido, Kpanyantido, Pewundo, Mankado, Tugbini, Nweendom, Ubore (2 units), and Bulkpali

Furniture Supply

In addition, the Member of Parliament for the area, Hon William Ntebe Ayoo, has procured 900 dual desks as part of the effort to improve furniture availability in public schools within the constituency.

Hon Tagba emphasized that these projects reflect the assembly’s commitment to promoting inclusive development and improving living standards across the district.
