Aspire High: Zabzugu MP Urges SHS Students to Prioritize Education During Parliamentary Visit
The Member of Parliament (MP) for Zabzugu, Hon. Alhassan Umar, has sent a strong message to students of Zabzugu Senior High School (SHS) during their educational tour of Parliament, urging them to take their studies seriously and aspire to greater heights.
Hon. Umar emphasized that education is the fundamental path for the students to achieve success, rise above limitations, and make meaningful contributions to their respective communities and the nation as a whole.
“Education is the only means by which you could rise high and contribute to your communities and the country,” the MP stated, underscoring the transformative power of academic commitment.

MPs Share Crucial Advice
The call was made during a visit by over 60 students and nine teachers, led by Mr. Francis Kala, to the “august house” as part of their comprehensive educational tour of key national institutions.
Several other Members of Parliament joined Hon. Umar in offering valuable counsel to the visiting future leaders.

The MPs who took turns address the students, advised them to desist from anti-social activities such as drug abuse, truancy, and engagement in negative peer groups that could irrevocably derail their future endeavors.

They stressed the importance of focus, hard work, and respecting authority as essential ingredients for realizing their full potential.
